What is the Difference Between Our Weaves?
Single Weave: Often chosen for a more minimal/modern look. Often one solid colour. Custom sizes go to a maximum of 28" (deep) x 52" (wide).
Double Weave: Our most popular weave allowing you to mix and match colours, this style removes more dirt and is best in high traffic, muddy, snowy conditions. Custom options are available from 36" (deep) - 216" (wide).
Note: both weaves are the same height approximately 1.5"
Can I leave my mat outside year round?
Absolutely!
Designed specifically to endure wet, cold, and muddy weather, our mats work best in dirtiest conditions. If you have an uncovered/high traffic area in the winter, feel free to salt your mat as a additional safety measure.
Will my mat mold or breakdown if it gets wet?
No. Commercial fishing rope is specifically designed for continuous exposure to water and harsh outdoor conditions without deteriorating. Its open-weave design allows water to drain freely through the mat, preventing moisture from pooling underneath.
This makes it an excellent choice for wood decking, helping to keep the surface dry and reducing the risk of mold and mildew. When it's time for a refresh, simply hose it down or use a power washer to restore its clean, like-new appearance.
Will the Sun Fade My Mat?
No. Our premium rope is UV-stabilized to prevent fading, shrinking, or curling of the edges during hot months.
Am I Able to Order a Custom Size?
Definitely!
Now, although we are not able to make a specific colour, you are able to mix and match from our current colour collection. We are able to make single weave mats/runners up to 28" (deep) - 52" (wide) and double weave mats/runners up to 32" (deep) - 216"(wide).
